Terms of Service
Effective date: to be set at launch
Last updated: to be set at launch
Acceptance and who may use Keld
- These terms are an agreement between you and Farholm LLC. By creating an account or using Keld you accept them.
- You must be at least [COUNSEL: minimum age — draft 13; confirm per launch markets and app-store requirements] years old and able to enter this agreement. If you use Keld for someone else, you confirm you have their permission and authority.
The service
- Keld is a travel itinerary organizer: it stores and organizes trips, confirmations, documents, costs, and travel details you already have.
- Keld does not sell travel. It offers no flight, hotel, car, insurance, or visa sales, no fare search, no checkout, and no affiliate offers.
- We are responsible for operating Keld with reasonable skill and care. Information Keld displays from third-party sources is covered by the disclaimer below.
Your account and security
- Sign-in uses one-time codes emailed to you. Codes are short-lived and single-use. Keep control of your sign-in email account. Anyone who controls it can request codes for your Keld account. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
- You own what you store in Keld. You grant Farholm LLC a limited license to host, process, parse, display, and transmit your content, solely to provide and improve the service and for no other purpose.
- You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for what you upload or forward, including information about travel companions and other people.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Keld unlawfully; probe, scan, or test its security without written permission; abuse forwarding addresses (yours or others'); send malware or spam; scrape or access the service with automated tools beyond normal app use; or attempt to access another person's account or data.
Suspension, removal, and termination
- We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service or other users. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you a chance to respond. You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account.
Third-party services and data
- Keld shows information from third parties: flight data, places and time zones, currency reference rates, and the app stores' services. This information may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate, and may stop being available. Your forwarded emails also pass through email infrastructure operated by our providers.
Travel disclaimer
- Keld provides organizational assistance only. It gives no live operational guarantee, no booking confirmation, and no carrier, government, immigration, visa, medical, legal, insurance, or financial advice. Always confirm requirements and travel details with official sources and your carrier before you travel.
- A document stored in Keld is a copy for your convenience; it is not a travel document or authorization. Carry and check your original documents as required.
Availability
- Keld may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or third-party data-provider failures. Keld is currently in a pre-launch phase: features and limits may change, and this beta notice will be removed at public launch.
Plans and billing
- Keld currently offers a free plan; a paid Plus plan with higher limits is planned. No purchases are offered in the app today.
- When subscriptions launch: the app stores (or the payment provider) govern the purchase transaction; these terms govern your use of the service to the extent allowed. Price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, refund, tax, and trial terms will be stated at purchase and added here before anything is sold.
- If we make material adverse changes to plan features or limits, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
Deleting your account
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or via the account deletion page. Deletion consequences and data handling are described in the Privacy Policy and on the account deletion page.
Changes to these terms
- We will post changes here and update the dates above, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Changes do not apply retroactively.
Governing law and disputes
- [COUNSEL: governing law and venue — choose for launch markets.]
- [COUNSEL: dispute-resolution terms, including whether any arbitration or class-action provision is appropriate and enforceable in the launch markets.]
Disclaimers and liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keld is provided "as is" and "as available", and Farholm LLC's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a nominal amount).
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, and nothing affects non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence, including in the EU, UK, and Canada.
- [COUNSEL: indemnity clause — include only if recommended.]
General
- If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a reorganization or sale of Farholm LLC. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement. Sections that by their nature survive termination (content license limits, disclaimers, liability, disputes) survive.
